I cannot bring myself to pay the Olympics any mind beyond a passing curiosity about Li’l Fat Kim’s All Girl Goon Squad. I just see the Olympics as being as tainted as most sport nowadays.

I can’t stand the amount of commercials while trying to watch some of the games in my hotel room this week. I don’t have cable so I’m just not used to it. 100% the only commercials I ever watch are the short YouTube ads that are actually relevant to something I’m watching anyways. Yes, I will gladly watch a car ad while watching a car video.

It pissed me off that they would skip some of the “less important” ski runs so that they could get some commercials in. Like fuck off, I don’t even want to watch TV if you PAID ME to do it with commercials. How the hell people still pay for cable is beyond me...

I’m on the road this weekend, but at home I DVR everything overnight and then zap the commercials. It’s the only way to watch.
